Hosting and access data

The website and email delivery are hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit the website, server logs may process your IP address, the date and time, requested files, browser, operating system and referrer. This supports website availability, troubleshooting and security.

Processing for reliable and secure operation is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Hosting and email service providers receive data to the extent necessary to provide their services.

Contact and project enquiries

If you contact us using the form, by email or by phone, we process your details to handle your enquiry and communicate with you. The form requires your name and email address. Without a completed brief, a short project description is also required. If you attach a brief, you may use the text field for additional comments or leave it blank. Company, phone number, project scope and time frame are optional.

You may optionally attach one completed brief as a DOCX or PDF up to 5 MiB. Your details and any attached file are sent to office@aboxon-webkonzept.de. A temporary server copy of the attachment is deleted after the email sending attempt; the file received by email remains part of your enquiry. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information or third-party personal data.

For enquiries about a potential order, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We handle other correspondence on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Without the necessary information, we cannot process a form enquiry.

Download brief templates

You can download the Standard, Medium and Premium brief templates without registering and complete them on your own device. Information you enter in the Word or PDF document is not automatically sent to us. We receive the completed document only when you attach it to your enquiry and submit the form, or email it to us. Downloads generate the access data described above.

Protection against form abuse

To limit repeated form submissions, we use a salted hash derived from the IP address and a temporary request counter. The counter expires after no more than 15 minutes. This processing protects against spam and is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies and saved preferences

We store your preference for external content locally in your browser. The preference is used for up to 180 days and can be changed using the cookie settings in the footer. You can also delete the stored website data through your browser. Storing the preference allows us to respect your decision.

The necessary storage of your preference is covered by Section 25(2) TDDDG; the associated processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Optional external content is loaded with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, Section 25(1) TDDDG.

Google Maps

The map in the footer remains blocked until you explicitly allow Google Maps or choose to load the map. A connection to Google is then established. In particular, your IP address, device and browser information and the page you visit may be transmitted to Google. Google may use cookies and similar technologies.

For users in the European Economic Area, the contact is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be processed in the USA and other countries. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings, with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not delete data already transmitted to Google.

Fonts, images and external links

Fonts, images and tool logos are served by this website. Displaying tool logos does not load those providers' analytics or advertising services. External project and information links open the respective operators' websites, where their privacy information applies.

Retention periods

We retain enquiries and correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry, fulfil an order or protect legitimate legal claims. The data is then deleted unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise. Google's own retention rules also apply to data it processes after you enable the map.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

Please contact office@aboxon-webkonzept.de to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. We do not make decisions on this website based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
